BREAKING-Twitter set to accept Musk’s $43 billion offer – sources

NEW YORK :Twitter Inc is poised to agree a sale to Elon Musk for around $43 billion in cash, the price the chief executive of Tesla Inc has called his “best and final” offer for the social media company, people familiar with the matter said.

Twitter may announce the $54.20-per-share deal later on Monday once its board has met to recommend the transaction to Twitter shareholders, the sources said. It is always possible that the deal collapses at the last minute, the sources added.

Musk, the world’s richest person according to a tally by Forbes, is negotiating to buy Twitter in a personal capacity and Tesla is not involved in the deal.

Twitter has not been able to secure so far a ‘go-shop’ provision under its agreement with Musk that would allow it to solicit other bids once the deal is signed, the sources said. Still, Twitter would be allowed to accept an offer from another party by paying Musk a break-up fee, the sources added.

The sources requested anonymity because the matter is confidential. Twitter and Musk did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Twitter shares were up 4.5 percent in pre-market trading in New York on Monday at $51.15.

Musk has said Twitter needs to be taken private to grow and become a genuine platform for free speech.

The deal would come just four days after Musk unveiled a financing package to back the acquisition. This led Twitter’s board to take the deal more seriously and many shareholders to ask the company not to let the opportunity for a deal to slip away, Reuters reported on Sunday.

The sale would represent an admission by Twitter that its new chief executive Parag Agrawal, who took the helm in November, is not making enough traction in making the company more profitable, despite being on track to meet ambitious financial goals the company set for 2023. Twitter’s shares were trading higher than Musk’s offer price as recently as November.

Musk’s negotiating tactics – making one offer and sticking with it – resembles how another billionaire, Warren Buffett, negotiates acquisitions. Musk did not provide any financing details when he first disclosed his offer for Twitter, making the market skeptical about its prospects.

Operation Mockingbird was an alleged CIA project that recruited journalists to write fake stories promoting government ideas while dispelling communist ones.

That was the front page headline of the February 14, 1967, edition of the New York Times. The article was one in a slew of articles published at the time in relation to something called Operation Mockingbird.

What was Operation Mockingbird?

It was an alleged large-scale project undertaken by the CIA beginning in the 1950s in which they recruited American journalists into a propaganda network. The recruited journalists were put on payroll by the CIA and instructed to write fake stories that promoted the views of the intelligence agency. Student cultural organizations and magazines were allegedly funded as fronts for this operation.

Operation Mockingbird expanded later on in order to influence foreign media as well.

Frank Wisner, the director of the espionage and counter-intelligence branch, spearheaded the organization and was told to concentrate on:

“propaganda, economic warfare; preventive direct action, including sabotage, anti-sabotage, demolition and evacuation measures; subversion against hostile states, including assistance to underground resistance groups, and support of indigenous anti-Communist elements in threatened countries of the free world.”

Journalists were reportedly blackmailed and threatened in this network.

The CIA’s financing of independent and private organizations wasn’t just meant to create favourable stories. It was also a means to covertly collect information from other countries that were relevant to America’s national security.

Justin Trudeau’s Canada Elections Act violation primary motive for the homicides of Barry and Honey Sherman

The Canada Elections Act provided the primary motive for the targeted double homicides of Toronto billionaires Barry and Honey Sherman. Events prior to and post the targeted murders leads to the conclusion that the homicides were politically motivated. That the homicides are linked to the Aug 26, 2015 fundraiser the murdered couple hosted for 2015 election candidate Justin Trudeau. A fundraiser that triggered an investigation by the RCMP for the Lobbying Commissioner after an administrative review by Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying (OCL) investigators

A fundraiser that provided MP Justin Trudeau with a “prohibited gift or other advantages” while Justin Trudeau was a candidate contesting in the October 19, 2015, federal election. A fundraiser that the Commissioner of Canada Elections defines as an illegal or corrupt practise under the Canada Elections Act for which, if convicted, Justin Trudeau would have been disqualified from contesting in the 2019 federal election. A very strong motive for murder.

How do events prior to and post the Barry and Hong Sherman murders link their murders to the August 26, 2015 fundraiser they hosted for election candidate Justin Trudeau?  Prior to their murders, Honey and Barry Sherman hosted a fundraiser for Justin Trudeau that not only violated ethics and lobbying laws it violated sections of the Canada Elections Act.

477.9 (1) No candidate shall accept any gift or other advantage that might reasonably be seen to have been given to influence them in the performance of their duties and functions as a member of the House of Commons if the candidate were to be elected

At the time Justin Trudeau was an election candidate in the October 2015 federal election and Barry Sherman was a registered lobbyist who Justin Trudeau was offered and did accept from Barry Sherman a prohibited gift or another advantage (the fundraiser), that might reasonably be seen to have been given to influence Trudeau in the performance of his duties and functions as a member of the House of Commons if the candidate, Justin Trudeau were to be elected.

Corrupt practice is defined as:

502 (2) Every person is guilty of an offence that is a corrupt practise who

(h.01) being a candidate, knowingly contravenes subsection 477.9(1) (accepting prohibited gift or other advantage);

Section 502 of the Canada Elections Act sets out other situations in which a conviction automatically results in the loss of the right to sit in the House of Commons

502 (3) Any person who is convicted of having committed an offence that is an illegal practice or a corrupt practice under this Act shall, in addition to any other punishment for that offence prescribed by this Act, in the case of an illegal practice, during the next five years or, in the case of a corrupt practice, during the next seven years, after the date of their being so convicted, not be entitled to

(a) be elected to or sit in the House of Commons;

That means the penalty for Justin Trudeau violating the Canada Elections Act isn‘t a slap on the wrist, it means the end to Justin Trudeau’s political career as Prime Minister of Canada and as a member of Parliament.

Just days after Honey and Barry Sherman were murdered on December 13, 2017, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was convicted of violating numerous ethics laws.  On Dec 20, 2017, just 5 days after Honey and Barry Sherman’s bodies were “officially” discovered (plainclothes RCMP officer filmed by a neighbour‘s security camera entering Sherman’s home morning of December 14, 2017, to remove wiretap devices for Lobbying Commissioner initiated the investigation of August 26, 2015, Trudeau fundraiser) Conflict of Interest Commissioner Mary Dawson found Justin Trudeau guilty of violating “multiple” Conflict of Interest Act laws. Days before their murders Barry Sherman was attempting to quash an RCMP lead Lobbying Commissioner investigation into the Aug 26, 2015 fundraiser registered lobbyists Honey and Barry Sherman hosted for 2015 federal election candidate Justin Trudeau. The lobbyists’ code of conduct prohibits registered lobbyists, such as Barry Sherman, from lobbying officeholders they helped get elected. Any RCMP investigation of Barry Sherman‘s fundraiser would also include Justin Trudeau as the Sherman fundraiser was hosted for Justin Trudeau.

Events, prior to & post the Honey & Barry Sherman murders, leads to no other conclusion than the murders were politically motivated. They were murdered because of the Aug 26, 2015 fundraiser Honey and Barry Sherman hosted for election candidate Justin Trudeau. That fundraiser not only violated the Lobbying Act it also violated the Canada Elections Act. Because the

Are there witnesses that the Commissioner of Canada Elections can use to convict Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of corrupt practices and bar him from contesting any election for the next 7 years? Yes. Toronto Police Services were at the August 26, 2015, Honey and Barry Sherman fundraiser for election candidate Justin Trudeau. Dispatched to police the Jewish Defense League protesting outside the fundraiser. The Toronto Police and the protesters are all material witnesses as are the invited guests.

Other witnesses include:

• Gabriel Erem (recipient of a Sherman email invitation soliciting support, i.e. another advantage for election candidate Justin Trudeau).
• York Center candidate Michael Levitt (also broke Canada Elections Act by attending a fundraiser as an election candidate),
• Meir Weinstein (JDL leader),
• Joel Goldman (JDL protester),
• Toronto Immigration barrister solicitor Guidy Mamman (invited guest), and
• Canadian Jewish News (reported Aug 21, 2015, that Barry Sherman spent an hour with election candidate Justin Trudeau a week before, before the fundraiser).

In October 2020 Dr. Andrew Hill was tasked to report to the World Health Organisation on the dozens of new studies from around the world suggesting that Ivermectin could be a remarkably safe and effective treatment for COVID-19.

But on January 18th, 2021, Dr. Hill published his findings on a pre-print server. His methods lacked rigour, the review was low-quality and the extremely

positive findings on ivermectin were contradicted by the conclusion. In the end, Dr. Hill advised that “Ivermectin should be validated in larger appropriately controlled randomized trials before the results are sufficient for review by regulatory authorities.”

The researcher seeking a global recommendation on Ivermectin had instead recommended against it. What were his reasons for doing so? Were his conclusions justified? Or were external forces influencing his about-face?

If it doesn’t have two visible inhalation valves with a visible exhalation valve in-between, it is a breathing barrier. The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is investigating a teacher who has been placed on home assignment after he sent a hostile email to students claiming that those without masks are “maybe even killing me” and that any unmasked students will need to sit outside in the hallway or face “detentions and other consequences.”

The message from Sandy Gladstone, an art and woodworking teacher at Northern Secondary School, goes against both TDSB and provincial policy — which says that masks remain optional for all students.

“This is to let you know that you will be admitted to our classroom only after I request that you have a well-fitting mask on; and that it will be kept on, over your nose, throughout your time with me,” the email from Gladstone to students, sent over the weekend, said.

“You will also continue to abide our backpacks down — hands washed with soap — get seated, protocols.” This policy also appears to be of Gladstone’s creation, as there is currently no mandatory TDSB handwashing policy related to COVID-19.

Gladstone added: “If you object to this request, and if you are OK with infecting me and others, maybe even killing me, no problem… you do you… seated in the Hallway [sic] outside our classroom ( not wandering ) … I’ll pass you some work to complete.”

The teacher warned: “If you use that hallway time to disappear or to be disruptive, that will lead to detentions and other consequences.”

The message explained that “in this pandemic epoch, as a responsible Canadian citizen, you must be utilitarian, not libertarian, in your thinking and behaviour … that means caring about and protecting the societal collective, not feeding the ego of the selfish, ignorant, individual.”

Gladstone, who also works as an artist and architect, did not respond to an email from the Toronto Sun requesting comment. The TDSB, though, told the Sun that while they do ask students and staff to wear masks, it remains a personal decision and Gladstone’s email does not represent their guidance.

While the province has made it clear that masks remain optional, the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation — which would represent Northern Secondary teachers — has pushed for mask mandates to remain in place.

“It should now be obvious that the pandemic is most definitely not over and mask mandates and other safety measures are still required to ensure students, teachers, education workers and school communities are protected,” said OSSTF President Karen Littlewood earlier this month.

We have filed a legal challenge with the federal court to overturn Trudeau’s unconstitutional travel ban. The case is well underway, thanks to incremental donations from the public, but primarily due to private funding from one very kind and generous anonymous donor. Our legal costs are racking up fast however and have exceeded our initial expectations, already surpassing the $100K mark. As a result of these newfound costs, we have created this new safe & secure crowdfunding page to allow our supporters to donate and provide us with much needed financial support to help cover legal & administrative costs to keep this case going, all the way to appeal in the Federal Supreme Court if necessary.

On December 24th, 2021, my co-applicant and I filed a notice of application with the federal court to challenge and overturn Justin Trudeau’s tyrannical travel ban on November 30th, 2021. With the recent announcement of the controversial coalition deal between the NDP and the Liberals and their subsequent vote to keep ALL federal mandates in place indefinitely, it looks very likely that the travel ban may very well remain in place for at least another 3.5 years.

Subsequently on March 11th, after months of work and literally thousands of man-hours, we submitted our expert medical reports and affidavits to the federal court. This is truly a symbolic and landmark case – it is a challenge against Trudeau’s last frontier of unscientific totalitarianism and tyranny. Our case was also the very first case filed to challenge the travel ban in Canada. Subsequently, others have filed and followed suit, including JCCF with Brian Peckford with five co-applicants, Maxime Bernier and a Lawyer from Quebec, all of who have since been ordered by the court to run their cases concurrently with ours.

Our incredibly talented Lawyer, Sam Presvelos and his team at Presvelos law LLP in Toronto, have done an outstanding job on this case. Out of the four cases which have now been filed with the federal court to challenge the travel ban, we are extremely confident that we have the strongest and most scientifically compelling case amongst them. This is primarily due to the five sworn affidavits that we have filed as evidence from five of Canada’s most renowned Doctors, Infectious Disease experts and Scientists.

We have been given a tentative court date of late September, however, we will be pushing the court hard to have these dates moved up given the urgency of the matter and the fact that approximately… six million ‘unvaccinated’ Canadians are prohibited by law from boarding a plane or train to leave their own country, they are also prohibited from embarking on domestic rail and air travel, this has resulted in families being torn apart and thousands of Canadians being unable to visit or care for sick and dying family members in other provinces.

All funds raised here will be used to fund our case, all the way to the Federal Supreme Court of Canada for appeal too if necessary.

So, what happened to Christianity in Newfoundland during Covid?

Was there any persecution of Christians during Covid?

Did those the lost the Freedom of Assembly defend it?

Did the Christians in Newfoundland stand up against the government and fight for their God-Given Rights?

Did Christians defend those few that did stand up to defend their Freedom of Assembly?

When I look back on what happened in our Churches during Covid in Newfoundland I would have to say that the Churches didn’t fight the lockdowns of Churches or the forced VAX-PASS.

They just went along with it and sadly many Churches encouraged the government’s overreach.

What happened should have caused outrage, however, most Christians stood in cowardly silence.

I can recall only one Pastor in Newfoundland that said [ No ] to the VAX-PASS for his congregation.

Some of the stories I heard of long-time faith believers and supporters of their local Churches being banned because they refused to let the government make a personal medical decision for them, left me with many unanswered questions.

Will I ever regain my lifetime of trust and respect for Christians?

On this Eastern Sunday, I think about the Cross and Jesus that brutally died for our sins on it.

I know of a couple of churches that enforced some of the mandates but never enforced the vax pass. In fact, one church said that they would go underground before they enforced it. That shows integrity and strength. I applaud them for having the backbone to do this.

Sadly, most of the churches didn’t stand up.

It was DISAPPOINTING when they enforced all of the mandates, (mandates are recommendations, not laws; although it was enforced as if it were a law written in stone!), the closures, social distancing, the masks, etc.

But it was DEVASTATING when they enforced the vax pass!

Coming from a pulpit and on social media, they (the leaders) were encouraging people to take an experimental drug that even now its after-effects are still not fully known.

Even if they didn’t outright say to “go and get the shots, it’s safe” but by doing it themselves, and let it be known that they did it, indicates that they thought it was a good idea.

In fact, there have been many deaths and too many injuries to count directly related to the so-called vax.

People have been wondering why so many people are getting sick in the small area that I’m living in but no one that has taken the vax would dare question it.

That would of course mean they had to acknowledge that possibly it was not good for them.

No one has a right to encourage other people to take something like that!

It should have been a person’s own decision without influence from the pulpit or from anyone else.

Never mind someone in authority like the leaders/shepherds of a church.

They are generally looked on as people of integrity and people that should be looking out for the well-being of their congregation.

A person should never be turned away from attending a church no matter what their medical status is.

Obviously, if you have a cold or any flu-like symptoms you would use common sense and stay at home. Isn’t that what we’ve been doing in the past?

It’s totally mind-boggling how the government got the churches on board to join their narrative with an “incentive” package.

Judas sold Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.

It makes me wonder how much it took for the churches to be bought?
